Embracing death while thanking God for new opportunities to make a difference is the premise of my 60,075-word self-help book, including 83 original art pieces with accompanying hospice short stories, “The Dying Teach Us How to Live” with a completed soft-back, eBook and audio book. Hospice patients teach us that life is a precious gift as exemplified by the heart-rending, soul- stirring truth in their stories. We learn to live hopefully, facing death with courageous faith and thankful hearts, with the blessings from God.

My credentials include: LSW, MS in Counseling, childbirth educator/lactation consultant, hospice grief counselor/social worker, adult daycare and nursing home social work administrator, and caregiver for my mother for 14 years. As a single mom raising five children, and multiple extras, including unwed mothers, and grandmother to 27, I felt alone, isolated, with crushing responsibility as I worked fulltime and attended college. Readers have cried, smiled through their tears, laughed, re-evaluated their faith and encountered the love of God while reading my testimony and experiencing the emotional depth of my artwork.
